Easter is right around the corner, and I’m pretty excited about it! This time last year we were in a newborn haze, and didn’t really get to do the whole baby’s first Easter basket, because I was just trying to keep myself upright! So this year I was able to really get into the holiday, and had way too much fun putting Felicity’s Easter basket together! And I thought it would be fun to share with you all some of my baby Easter basket ideas!
Since Felicity is still a little young for things like chocolate covered bunnies and Cadburry eggs, I had to get a little creative with the contents of her basket. It ended up being a good mix of things she’d need and things she’d enjoy. Adding in a few essential items that I needed to pick up for her anyway helped justify some of the spending I was doing to the hubby. 😉 And thanks to dollar store finds and bargain shopping, I was able to fill the basket to the brim without breaking the bank!
Felicity got a sneak preview of her basket, and she obviously approved! Baby girl went straight for her new bunny book, so I think I did okay. 😉
So now we just have to make sure we have our Sunday best all together for church! It’s looking like a weekend full of sunshine and family, which is exactly how I like our Easter weekend to be.
Are you putting together an Easter basket? Have any fun weekend plans? Let’s hear about them!
Have a blessed holiday everybody! See you on Monday!
