Happy Hump Day everybody! Hope your Wednesday has been treating you well.
The highlight of mine? Picking up our family Christmas cards!
For me, receiving Christmas cards is one of the first ways I know it’s officially Christmas time! Whenever that first one arrives, it’s like a switch goes off in my head saying, “NOW it’s Christmas!!”
Maybe it’s because in today’s culture we’ve almost completely lost traditional mail thanks to the invention of the internet. But there’s just something about going to the mailbox and finding REAL mail in the midst of all the bills and junk we are bombarded with every day.
No matter what the reason, I think we can all agree that there’s just something about receiving a Christmas card in the mail that brings a smile to your face.
Originally I had wanted to do a family photo shoot, but life got in the way. Then I remembered I had some adorable photos of Felicity in front of the tree that we took recently. If you caught the post recently about Baby’s First Christmas Bucket List then the photo may look familiar to you.
Who needs a family photo shoot when you already have this adorableness??
Simple and classy, perfect for the holidays. Now I just have to sit down and address all of them in time for people for Christmas!!
So what’s your take on Christmas cards and snail mail? Love it, hate it? Maybe you had a super creative and adorable idea for a holiday photo shoot that you would be willing to share? I’d love to hear about it! Leave me a comment below!
