You guys want to know one of the things I love most about spring? Getting to break out all of my favorite florals prints and pastel pieces. Something about them just makes me so happy. So when Sunday rolled around with what was probably the most perfect day of the year here in Florida we decided to go play along the riverside. I knew it was the perfect time to bust out one of my favorite spring pieces: my floral kimono!
I have always been drawn to how light and feminine the kimono is. Which is perfect for running around in the Florida sunshine. Anything light and airy is pretty much a year round staple around here. And the fact that it can also be a super cute swimsuit cover up is just a bonus!
And it was exactly what I needed strolling along the river with our baby girl.
Which has quickly become one of my favorite places to take her. You have the water, with the marina and the water sports going on. Then you have the life of the downtown. Various parks and splash pads all along the way. We have to enjoy it now, because in a few months you’ll be able to scrape us off the pavement after melting from the humidity. But until then I will be on the river, rocking my kimono, and running after my little peanut who will one day probably never let me live down the fact that she’s always wearing her giant sunhat in every outdoor picture! #palebabyproblems
