Earlier this week I was pretty sure the rain was never going to end. Lots of play dough and coloring going on in our home this week that was for sure. On the upside, being stuck in the house meant I was finally able to get caught up on some much-needed housework. I don’t know about you but cleaning is definitely not my go to move unless I have too. But when you’re stuck inside for days, maybe that’s the universe’s way of saying I have to…
Although one way to get excited about cleaning is to get a box full of delicious smelling cleaning products dropped off at your door. Yea, I felt bad for the poor wet mailman, but then I smelled my new soy candle and quickly got over it.
Have you guys heard of Grove Collaborative? Yea, they were new to me too until a girlfriend of mine introduced me. And now I’m completely hooked! They are a company dedicated to providing family safe household products, like Mrs. Meyer’s and Seventh Generation, at a discounted price.
I’m going to be honest with you guys, as a wife of a small business owner, I had never actually broken down and tried Mrs. Meyer’s before because of the price, but with Grove Collaborative it’s so much more affordable and I totally see what all the fuss was about!
I selected a whole bundle of goodies and when they arrived during my rainy week, I actually couldn’t wait to get cleaning. Crazy, I know!
And when the cleaning was done, and my house smelled like lavender and sandalwood, I lit a candle, grabbed a mug of something warm and snuggled in with my baby girl to watch Moana while the rain just kept coming. It was perfect.
And it’s looking like we’re in for another rainy weekend, so who knows? Maybe I’ll get to do some more cleaning. 😉
Psst!!! Grove Collaborative is offering a FREE Mrs. Meyer’s hand soap plus a $10 credit towards your next purchase here! Oh! And make sure to check out their Grove Collaborative soy sandalwood candle. It’s a complete game changer. Trust me, you’ll thank me later!
